Welcome to Lumbini.info ("the Registry"). By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. What the Registry provides

The Registry publishes provenance and consecration records for artifacts registered by participating artisans, workshops and organizations. Records include registration numbers, origin, material, and consecration ceremony information as submitted to and reviewed by the Registry.

2. Meaning — and limits — of verification results

• A "record found" result means the registry number you entered matches a record in our database. It is not a guarantee of authenticity, quality, or value; you must still compare the physical artifact with the published photos and details.
• A "no matching record" result does not by itself prove that an artifact is counterfeit — not all artifacts are registered.
• Risk, loss and inactive flags reflect reports and review status at the time of the query and may change.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, bulk-query, or attempt to circumvent rate limits and access controls.
• Do not submit false, misleading or unlawful content through our forms.
• Do not attempt to access administrative interfaces without authorization.

4. Intellectual property

Site content, registry data compilations and document templates are the property of the Registry or its contributors. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Bulk reproduction of registry data requires written permission.

5. Certificates and downloads

Downloadable PDF certificates and reports are generated for the convenience of record holders. A certificate is evidence of registration only; it is not an appraisal. Altered or out-of-date copies are not authoritative — the online record prevails.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Registry is not liable for losses arising from reliance on registry records, service interruptions, or third-party misuse of published information.

7. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use after the revision date above constitutes acceptance.
